The situation with COVID-19 continues to change by the day and\nthis impact is being felt across every industry.&nbsp;We\ncontinue to monitor and follow directives from the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/click.thriftbooks-email.com\/?qs=f8dd40b5b5f9e1368d30293277fc87b340a48bff5110456624b447edc516cc7bc74ef42679e0577a544730023decb0729ed5b0690d7f1a31\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>World Health Organization (WHO)<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and\nthe&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/click.thriftbooks-email.com\/?qs=f8dd40b5b5f9e1360290b675756a401c4e1b318fddca4ecd8dfec1f8606429b0545347e65da8cc24a388919b0ddf952824e8e37e8f8a4c95\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Center for Disease Control (CDC)<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;as\nrelated to COVID-19. Providing a safe and healthy work environment for our\nemployees while also doing all we can to be a good business partner for our\ncustomers and retail partners. Mr. Elmer Gates, a man who had a great influence\non us once said, \u201cThe best thing you can do for your community is to operate a\nsuccessful business\u201d. As we all face the economic fallout from COVID-19, Mr.\nGates words continue to ring true. We are doing our very best within the\nguidelines provided to operation a safe and sanitary operation for our\nemployees as well as our customers. Though our GFSi certified manufacturing\nfacility already goes to great lengths to ensure ongoing\nsanitary&nbsp;conditions,&nbsp;we are also enhancing any and all cleaning\nprocedures. We have also locked down our office and facility to essential\npersonnel&nbsp;only.<br>\n<br>\nBelow are details on how we are actively managing against COVID-19:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>We are following the directives and\nbest practices from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. <\/li><li>We have increased our daily cleaning\nroutines, including more frequent hand washing, use of sanitizer and constant\ncleaning of all equipment. <\/li><li>Employees are using latex-free or\ndisposable gloves whenever necessary<\/li><li>We require our employees to practice\nproper hygiene, washing their hands with soap often and following proper cough\nand sneeze protocols<\/li><li>All employees feeling ill or displaying\nany symptoms of illness are being provided excused absences and asked to stay\nat home until they are well<\/li><li>All personnel that can do so are\nworking from home. &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\nGourmet Warehouse has always had a personal connection with the communities we\nserve, through retail partnerships, our national sales team and broker partners\nand most importantly&nbsp;with the&nbsp;customers that purchase our products.\nWe are currently still producing and shipping product. If our production\nability is altered in the future, we will post an update.
